Groundhog Day

Happy Groundhog Day! Every February 2, people gather at Gobbler's Knob, a wooded knoll just outside of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. The holiday marks the mid point between the winter solstice and the vernal equinox. According to legend, if Punxsutawney Phil, the official groundhog day prognosticator, sees his shadow, there will be six more weeks of winter weather. If not, we'll have an early spring.
